Class

The Slaughter Motorsport Streamliner will compete in the F/BFS Class as sanctioned by SCTA (Southern California Timing Association, USA) and DLRA (Dry Lakes Racers Association, Aus).

Following is a explanation of the F/BFS Class designation.

Designation Description Details
F : Engine 123 thru 122 cid (2.01 to 3.00 Ltr)
B : Blown Forced Induction with either a supercharger or turbocharger
F : Fuel “In fuel classes, any approved liquid fuel may be used. Approved fuels are : nitrous oxide, nitro methane blends, alcohol and non approved gasoline.……………..”
S : Streamliner “ This class is for the all-out land speed record car. Cars in this class must have at least four wheels , but they need not be arranged in a rectangular configuration. Four wheel drive is allowed. The design of the body is restricted only to the extent that at least two (2) wheels must be covered.”
