Slaughter Motorsport to feature on Channel 9 News Queensland on Thursday, April 15 from 6pm.

A recent feature on Slaughter Motorsport in the current RACQ Road Ahead magazine has helped lift the profile of the team into the mainstream media.

This culminated is the team receiving a phone call today from Channel 9 senior journalist Lane Calcutt, with a request for an interview about the teams World Record Land Speed attempt.

Calcutt with cameraman Howie Bennett spent a good 2 hours at team headquarters today filming, interviewing and gathering information, about what it's going to take to set a World Land Speed Record.

Pictured right is Calcutt behind the wheel of the Slaughter streamliner, getting a feeling for what owner/driver Trevor Slaughter will call his office on race day.

The news piece is scheduled to run tomorrow night, April 15th, in the second half of the 6pm nightly news program. The date is subject to change with breaking news stories and we'll keep you informed of any changes.
